The most popular games console, within the 7th generation, is the Wii with current sales of around 89.3 million around the world. However, the PS2 sold around 53 million before the 7th generation came around. The other games consoles of this generation, Xbox 360 sold 57.6 million followed by the PS3 which sold about 55 million. Statistics show that the male gender is most likely to buy the PS3 and Xbox 360 whereas the female gender would buy the Wii.
